Sophie Steigerwald

Sophie Steigerwald received her BSc in “Bioscience" in 2017 at the Goethe-University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In her Bachelor's thesis she studied the impact of inter- and intraspecific competition on the sensitivity of the non-biting midge Chironomus riparius to the antiepileptic drug carbamazepine. During her studies she has been tutor in the practical courses “Structure and Function of Organisms" and “Diversity of Organisms (Plants, Fungi and Animals)" of the bachelor program “Biosciences" at the Goethe-university in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In her Master's thesis she is going to study population density effects on the male mate choice in the freshwater amphipod Gammarus roeselii.
