Abstract Submission

Due to several requests we have decided to extend the deadline of the abstract submission to May 13, 2024. We are looking forward to receiving your abstracts.

Please submit your abstracts via e-mail to: csiv2024@bio.uni-frankfurt.de

There are two options of presenting your work at this year's Chemical Signals in Vertebrates conference:

Oral Presentations:

Each presentation slot will be 20 minutes long. Therefore, the talk should be 15 minutes long allowing for a short discussion and question round afterwards.

The presentation slides should be either saved in a PDF (.pdf) or PowerPoint (.ppt) format on a flash drive. Presentation slides can also be sent via E-mail beforehand. The presentations will be on a computer with a Windows operating system.

Poster Presentations:

Posters should preferably be in an A1 format with portrait orientation.

Abstract submissions for CSiV 2024 will open March 01, 2024 and close May 13, 2024 and can be sent to us via our E-Mail csiv2024@bio.uni-frankfurt.de

Authors that wish to present may submit up to a maximum of two abstracts. One for poster and one for oral consideration. Due to the limitation of time, presentation spots will be limited. If your abstract for an oral presentation is declined, you might be offered a poster presentation.

Abstracts are limited to 250 words and should be complete and concise. The abstract should include:

          •  A brief background
          • Question/aim
          •  Brief methodology
          • Overall results and findings
          • Conclusion and relevance
          • Three key words

While submitting your abstract please provide details about the preferred presentation type.
